Looking for something for your kids to do when DPS school is off but work isnt? Have them join SPREE as we explore and learn about the different trees at grow along the South Platte River!

SPREE Holiday camps are fun and educational days filled with games, crafts, adventures and even top secret missions about the environment! SPREE offers school holiday camps for students Kindergarten (must be at least 6)-5th grade at SPREE Headquarters from 8AM to 6PM. The daily schedule will be as follows:

What to Bring: Be sure to pack your camper with a water bottle and a full lunch + 2 snacks. Pack sunscreen, water shoes, and any clothing that they need to spend a majority of the day outside.

Spend an evening cozy by a campfire complete with stories and s’mores! Campfire stories are a powerful tradition passed down through generations. Explore how to share your story. These programs are suitable for all ages. Campfires at Coyote Ridge include a hike on an unpaved trail to the cabin. Please allow 30-40 minutes for the hike. The campfire begins at the time listed. Explore one of North America’s rarest animals in this unique opportunity. We will journey together to Soapstone Prairie for a presentation about the black-footed ferret and then we will hike and search for this elusive resident.
