Event Description:

Come search for fall migrating birds at Standley Lake! Feel free to bring binoculars and a field guide to help identify our flying visitors. You will get to touch a heron nest and hopefully see our resident bald eagles from a spotting scope. Go on a 1-mile hike and see how some of these birds survive and understand why most of them are just passing through. Dress appropriately. You may want to bring warmer clothes and water. You must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage:

Class is free! (Park pass required). All ages. Limited to 20 spaces.

What to Bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor hike/weather. Feel free to bring your own pair of binoculars.
