What will we be doing?
Volunteers will be helping to repair the original wood flooring in the lodge as well as fixing the drainage issues outside of the

Stewardship site significance:
The invaluable work you will be executing will help restore the lodge, allowing more of the historically significant building to be opened up to the public.

What to Bring: REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition Be able to work on your knees Some of the work will require lifting heavy material Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian If we can get to it, some work will require heavy lifting WHAT TO BRING Project waiver Sturdy shoes (NO sandals) Work gloves (if you have them) Work clothes –things you can get dirty in! Knee pads (if you have them) Water bottle(s) (totaling 2 liters) Snacks for the work day Hat, rain gear and warm clothes Sunscreen, insect repellent, personal items, medications, etc. Backpack (day pack) Help reduce waste by bringing your water bottle. NO PETS ALLOWED

Location Details: Baehrden Lodge was built in 1927 at the very western edge of Jefferson County at present-day Pine Valley Ranch Park. The Baehr family used the home until William Baehr died in 1956 and it went through a series of ownerships. Jacques Benedict played an important role in the state's architectural history, designing the Washington Park Boating Pavilion in Denver, Littleton Carnegie Library, Chief Hosa Lodge in Genesee, Echo Lake Lodge and many of the buildings of Denver's City .
