Birding in the Gardens: Winter Duck Walk
Saturday, January 25, 2014, 8-11 AM

Walk with us on the wild side! Join Tom Bush, Master Birder and owner of Front Range Birding Company, to discover the amazing diversity of ducks that winter in and around Hudson Gardens. This tour will include stops along the South Platte River to discover other avian species that frequent the rich river corridor. From diving ducks to dabbling ducks, you’ll come away amazed with the local wildlife and will also pick up basic birding techniques, identification tips, and so much more! Whether you are new to birding or an experienced bird watcher, there is always something exciting to see through your binoculars at Hudson Gardens!

This walk will be held outdoors. Participants will meet in front of the Gift Shop. Dress for the weather, bring snacks and a pair of binoculars. No prior birding experience is necessary.
