Event Description:

Learn about Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons and Cormorants, just to name a few, all which live at the park. You’ll get to touch a heron nest and hopefully see the bald eagles/eaglets from a spotting scope. Go on a 1-mile hike and see how some of these birds hunt for food and watch their daily behavior. Dress appropriately. You may want to bring sunscreen and water. All ages must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage:

Park day entrance fee or pass required. Class is free! Ages 10 to adult. Limited to 15 spaces.

What to Bring: You may want to bring sunscreen, water and binoculars (binoculars are limited).
