Event Description:

Join a naturalist to celebrate the 2nd full moon of July by going on a moonlit exploration of Horsetooth Mountain Open Space. Explore myths and legends about our closest celestial neighbor on this three-mile round trip hike. Hike rating: moderate. Weather permitting, the hike will be followed by viewing of the moon through a telescope.

What to Bring: All participants MUST bring a flashlight, water, and closed toe shoes. Dress appropriately for the weather.
