Event Description:

For those who grew-up with the original Pillsbury biscuits, biscuits are white gooey dough that comes out of a tube, goes onto a pan and into the oven; quick and easy but also unremarkable. As Southerners say, “You can put boots in the oven but that doesn’t make them biscuits.” Join us for a mini lesson on woodstove cooking as you make a flavorful selection of 19th century biscuit recipes including Beaten Biscuits, Vinegar Biscuits, Egg biscuits and several more. Eat what you make. All supplies provided. Appropriate for ages 12 & up with a participating adult. Instructor: Priscilla Marshall
*Reservations required: $45 / member; $55 / non-member
