Event Description:

Join volunteer naturalists to celebrate the coming of summer! On this easy 2-mile hike we will explore the natural history of the area including wildflowers, wildlife, and forest ecology. We will also talk about summer weather patterns and safety in the mountains. Participants should wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes, be prepared to hike at an elevation of about 8500 feet, and bring a rain poncho and drinking water. All ages are welcome.
