Event Description:

The Bird Conservancy of the Rockies is proud to announce it's 4th annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids! Join local families and naturalists from Bird Conservancy of the Rockies for a Christmas Bird Count held especially for kids! The event gets kids involved in the celebrated tradition of annual bird counts, started by the National Audubon Society more than 100 years ago to encourage bird
conservation.
Monday, January 18, 2016. From 9am-2pm
Pre-registration is REQUIRED. RSVP to Nicole Passeri, (303)659-4348 ext. 18 or by Friday, January 15.

· Kids must be accompanied by adult
· $3 per person, plus $7 per vehicle state park entrance fee or $70 annual CO State Parks pass (vaild for 12 months)
· Warm drinks, snacks, and loaner binoculars provided

What to Bring: Bring warm clothes/hats/gloves etc, binoculars and a field guide if you have them and your sense of adventure!
