Event Description:

High-altitude climber and author Jim Davidson was ascending the dangerous Khumbu Glacier on a cold April morning with the intent to climb the highest peak in the world. With all of his planning and many years of training, the climb of a lifetime seemed to be within his grasp, but Mount Everest had other ideas. On the morning of April 25, while Jim was on the mountain, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook Everest, and surrounding Nepal. The earthquake sent massive avalanches racing down the mountain towards base camp and towards Jim at Camp 1.
Join us for an evening with Jim and hear his incredible tale of being on the highest mountain in the world during this epic disaster. Jim will be sharing amazing stories, pictures and videos of his ordeal. From his Everest experience, and other invigorating expeditions, Jim will distill key lessons and tips for you to pursue your adventure of a lifetime!
