Event Description:

Join Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on this unique field trip. Enjoy bird banding, historical and scientific presentations, and time in the field birding with local biologists and expert birders as we traverse the beautiful state of Colorado. Planned stops include Barr Lake, the Alfred M. Bailey Bird Nesting Area in the Arapaho National Forest, Grand Mesa, Box Canyon near Ouray for Black Swifts and more! Cost includes lodging, transportation and most meals. Proceeds benefit research and conservation of Black Swifts, one of North America's most mysterious birds.
