Dinosaur Discovery Day- Earth & Sky

Come join the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge on Saturday, May 10th, 10am-3pm for a day of geology and fossil fun at Dinosaur Ridge. Free hands-on activities such as gold panning, fossil sifting, and dinosaur track painting will be available at the Visitor Center. On the trail, guides will explain the geology and fossils along Dinosaur Ridge. Vendors for the day include: National Park Service, Wildlife Experience, Bear Creek Lake Park, Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, Pioneer Natural Resources, Women In Mining, U.S. Geological Survey, Leave No Trace, Morrison Natural History Museum, Cool Science, Lookout Mountain Nature Center, Butterfly Pavilion, Space Science Institute, Colorado Movie Cars, Western Interior Paleontological Society, Reptile Rescue, Brighton Astronomy Group, Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, Space Foundation, YellowScene Magazine plus others. Biking and hiking the trail is free, or take the shuttle for $4/per person, 3 & under ride free. Dinosaur Ridge is located just west of the C-470 exit at Alameda Parkway.
