Fall and Early Winter Nature Camps at South Platte Park

When school’s out for even a day kids look for something challenging to keep them busy. South Platte Park offers several programs during Fall and early Winter 2015. Choose one, two, or all three days of the Fall Break Nature Camp – Monday, November 23 through Wednesday, November 25 from 9am-12pm. Children will delight in autumn games, hikes, and nature-based activities designed and lead by park naturalists. During the last two weeks of December your kids have several days to choose from. Winter Break Nature Camp runs 9am-12pm on December 21-23 and December 28-30. Activities include tracking, winter survival, and winter ecology. For children ages 6 – 10. Fee per day is $19 for youth residents and $25 for youth non-residents; fee for three days per week is $49 for youth residents and $59 for youth non-residents. Registration is required and program size is limited, so advanced booking is highly recommended. What to wear: sturdy closed shoes and weather-appropriate attire.
