Fire and Flowers Hike

Join volunteer naturalists for a moderate one-mile hike to learn about the natural role of fire in ponderosa pine ecosystems and forest management practices that can lessen the effects of wildfires. You will see evidence of the September 2010 Fourmile Canyon fire, and learn about some of the rehabilitation efforts that have been employed recently. Along the trail, we will also help you identify wildflowers.
