Event Description:

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, Wild Birds Unlimited - Fort Collins and the Legacy Land Trust will host a birding tour in the foothills west of Loveland, Colo.
Spring is an excellent time to view the abundance and diversity of migratory and resident birds along the Front Range of Colorado. Possible species to be seen on this trip include Lazuli Bunting, Western Tanager, Red Crossbill and American White Pelican, among many others. During the tour, participants can meet other birders and gain tips on bird identification.
Cost is $30 per person or $25 for RMBO and Wild Birds Unlimited Daily Savings Club members, which includes van transportation and lunch. Participants will need to register by May 27 by contacting Program Administrator Fran DeBauge at 970-482-1707 ext. 32 or .

Location

Location Details: Participants will meet at the Harmony Park-n-Ride west of I-25 in Fort Collins. From there, they will take a van to Pinewood Reservoir to view water birds then travel to a 120-acre easement on private land to explore scenic meadows and forests.
