Greenway Leadership Corps Urban Farming Adventure

Each month the Leadership Corps will venture out and explore a different place in the city or in the mountains open to middle and high school students. This month we will take an urban adventure to the Growhaus, an old warehouse transformed into an indoor farm that supplies the surrounding community with fresh, healthy food. Tour their amazing facilities where they use sustainable farming practices to grow lettuce, root vegetables, fish and more. After learning about the process, we will get our hands dirty through a service project led by Growhaus staff.
