Event Description:

Calling all adventurous preteens and teens ages 11-15! During this four-day class, learn valuable outdoor skills including wildlife viewing, animal tracking, fly-casting, bait fishing, archery, outdoor survival, hiking essentials, fire starting, and map and compass reading. Teens will receive a tracking guide, fishing pole, compass, and survival bracelet. Classes will be taught by Highlands Ranch Metro District Park Rangers and employees from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

What to Bring: Dress appropriately for outdoor learning.

Location Details: From the intersection of Lucent Blvd. and Plaza Dr. travel west on Plaza Dr. The park is located on the left (south) side of the street after you pass Ben Franklin Academy.
