Two Cultures - One Vision

Run alongside the Tarahumara to preserve the landscapes we love during the Hardscrabble Mountain Trail Run 5k/10k on June 2 near Westcliffe, Colorado!

Let the sweeping, panoramic views of the Sangre de Cristos, Pikes Peak and the Wet Mountains inspire you to protect the adventure! Run or walk the mild and fun 5K route or attack the gnarly 10K course with friends and family, followed by food, drinks, and live music!

A benefit trail race for San Isabel Land Protection Trust, Palmer Land Trust, and Norawas de Raramuri.

Bear Basin Ranch, Westcliffe, CO
Location Details: From Denver/Colorado Springs Go south on I-25 to the Nevada Ave. exit for Hwy 115 in Colorado Springs. Take Hwy 115 south from Colorado Springs to Florence. Turn left on Hwy 67 in Florence just after the Carl's Junior towards Wetmore. In Wetmore, turn right on Hwy. 96. About mile marker 11, turn right (North) onto County Road 271. When you see the sign for Bear Basin Ranch on the left, turn left (North) and follow the signs to the parking and staging area for the race. From Salida Hwy 50 East Go southeast to Cotopaxi and turn right just before the General Store on to Fremont CR 1A. Take CR 1A to Hwy. 69 and turn right (south) toward Westcliffe. Once in Westcliffe, turn left (East) at the flashing light onto Main Street/Hwy 96. Follow Hwy. 96 through town and out approximately 11 miles East to County Road 271. When you see the sign for Bear Basin Ranch on the left, turn left (North) and follow the signs to the parking and staging area for the race.
