International Migratory Bird Day: All about Habitat!

Birds need habitat to survive. Standley Lake offers a variety of habitat to our feathered friends, whether they are year-round residents or simply visiting! Exactly what type and how much depends on a bird species' food preferences, foraging strategies, and nest site requirements. Come take a 2 hour walk to get a glimpse of Standley Lake’s birds within their habitat. Be ready to use your carpenter skills to build homes for Standley Lake’s feathered friends!
