Love the Lower Loop - Trail Cleanup

Want to get your hands dirty to help the Lower Loop? Join us on Saturday, June 8th to show your love for one of Gunnison County’s most popular trails. The Lower Loop begins right from the Town of Crested Butte and provides a 5-mile hiking, biking and equestrian adventure that takes recreationists to the Raggeds Wilderness and beyond.

With more than 500 friends and families enjoying the trail on a busy summer day, there are a few areas that need some work and erosion control. We’ll also be looking at improving the rollovers and identifying areas that may be better designed for handcycles.

Our partner, the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association, volunteered to help, but we need you, too! As always, kids are welcome.
