Event Description:

Nature Discovery Day: Growing a Garden
Saturday, July 27th, 10 AM – 12 PM

Discover how plants grow and how fun it can be to start and care for your own garden! Join a naturalist as we discover beautiful roses, tasty vegetables, pond lilies and what grows inside a greenhouse on this exploration of Hudson Gardens. Kids will learn all about the many steps that go into planting a garden and the ‘ingredients’ that help plants survive. Each kid will have an opportunity to create their own salad dressing using herbs from Hudson Gardens’ herb garden!

Program will meet in the Welcome Garden and will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress and prepare accordingly.

Registration: $5/child, ages 5-10. Each child must be accompanied by a guardian, which is included in the program fee. Additional adults $1.50/each. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Call the Education Department at (303) 797-8565 ext. 306 or visit shop.hudsongardens.org to register.
