Event Description:

Nature Discovery Day: Wildlife Investigation
Saturday, March 8th, 2014 10 AM – 12 PM

Join us as we look for signs of wildlife on a hike through the Gardens. We’ll try to identify the different animals that roam Hudson Gardens at night by searching for clues such as tracks and scat. During our adventure we’ll discover which animals are on the hunt, which animals soar high above Hudson Gardens, and which animals are still asleep for the winter. Before heading home, children will have a chance to dissect a real owl pellet!

Check in at the Gift Shop at least five minutes prior to the start of the program. All programs will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

Registration: $6/child (member), $7/child (non-member), ages 5-10. Each child must be accompanied by a guardian, which is included in the program fee. Additional adults: $1.50/member, $2/non-member. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Call the Education Department at (303) 797-8565 ext. 306 or visit shop.hudsongardens.org to register.
