Event Description:

During this presentation by Wild Wings Environmental Education, kids older than 10 and adults are invited to explore the ancient practice of humans and birds of prey working together.

This is a two-part program. The first hour will introduce you to the art and history of falconry. You will learn about the tools used and meet the raptors. During the second hour, we'll venture outside to Spring Gulch Equestrian Area and witness a hunting demonstration from master falconers. This is not be for the squeamish. Donations will be accepted for care of the birds.

What to Bring: Portions of this program are outdoors. Please dress appropriately for weather and walking off trail.
