Penitente Canyon Trail Construction and Recreation Day

Get outdoors, give back, and play on a weekend of stewardship and recreation in the San Luis Valley! On Saturday, volunteers will work to construct sustainable reroutes around washed out and eroded sections of trail. On Sunday, volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of Penitente Canyon Recreation Area’s incredible recreational resources including mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking and more!
