Event Description:

Come join biologists as we protect prairie dogs and the species they support! A large fence must be built near Rabbit Mountain to contain prairie dog migration to one area, protecting the neighboring grassland restoration area. This passive form of prairie dog control is one important part of an integrated approach to manage prairie dogs in Boulder County. Work will involve carrying, bending, and hammering. The minimum age is 12 with adult supervision. This project runs from 8:00am-12:00pm. Please register online at: www.BoulderCountyOpenSpace.org/wildwork.
