Event Description:

Preparing your roses for winter is the key to growing fabulous flowers in the spring. A rose growing expert from the Denver Rose Society will explain why fall and winter care keeps your roses healthy from year to year. You’ll learn tips on encouraging dormancy, when to water, how to transplant and rearrange rose beds, and how to prepare new rose beds for spring planting. You’ll also receive a recommended list of roses that do well along the Front Range and higher altitudes. The class will wrap up with a visit to Hudson Gardens’ Rose Garden.
