Event Description:

What does it take to be a bird of prey? Discover what sets apart raptors, such as eagles, hawks and owls! We might catch a glimpse of our national symbol (Bald Eagles) on our short walk! This program will discuss the characteristics of raptors with an emphasis on their cultural significance, mating rituals, to what they eat for breakfast. You must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage:

Class is free! (Park pass required). All ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 15 spaces.

What to Bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for weather. Bring water/sunscreen and also feel free to bring your own pair of binoculars.

Location Details: Meeting location is at the nature center which is located inside the park off of the 100th Ave and Simms St. main park entrance.
