Event Description:

Are you a teen (12 -16 years) seeking some adventure for the summer? Leave your boredom behind and join us for some adventure as we explore the great outdoors! SPOT Outdoor Adventure Camp is the place for you! Each program has a unique itinerary - so choose the one that speaks to you! During this trip we will learn the basic techniques of roped tree climbing, BBQ, kayak and swim at Union Reservoir, go rock climbing, camping, and hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park It is sure to be a summer highlight! What to Bring: There is a parent informational meeting at 6 pm on Monday, July 1 to review details for the trip. This meeting will be held at Centennial Pool in Longmont, 1201 Alpine St in Longmont. Camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, cooking equipment) is provided by the city of Longmont, but campers are welcome to bring their own. Bring: various clothing layers to be prepared for Colorado weather, backpack, water bottle, sunscreen, hat, bathing suit, sturdy shoes. Campers provide their own bag lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday, all other food and trip activities are included in trip expense.

Location Details: We will meet at the shelter at Sunset Pool in Longmont at the beginning of each trip. From this location we will venture out to our various adventure activities!
