Event Description:

Join volunteer naturalists for a 1.3-mile moderate hike along the Lichen Loop Trail to learn how this scenic landscape has changed over time. Tales told in the rocks span over 200 million years, from ancient sand dunes to tidal flats to riverbeds where dinosaurs roamed. The rocks determine the shape and ecology of the present landscape, and plants and wildlife we find here.
