Event Description:

Volunteers will plant various trees, plants and shrubs to restore and improve the grounds at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat. Here you can find some of the best bird-watching in the county. The trees and shrubs you plant will not only provide perches and homes for these creatures, but also improve the experience for trail users. Work will be moderately-strenuous, involving bending, digging, and carrying. The minimum age is 12 with adult supervision. This project runs from 8:00am-12:00pm. Please register online at: www.BoulderCountyOpenSpace.org/wildwork. For more information contact Fletcher at 303-678-6329 or .
