Event Description:
It's a day of turkeys at Barr Lake State Park! The morning will feature a turkey vulture family program at 10am featuring a live turkey vulture, turkey crafts will be happening in the nature center all day, and join us at the BRAND NEW Barr Lake Archery Range from 1-3pm for a Thanksgiving Archery Shoot. We'll provide the equipment and teach you how to shoot a bow at 3-D turkey targets! All events are free, however a parks pass is required to enter the park. Call 303-659-6005 to make reservations for your family.
What to Bring: Be sure to register in advance at 303-659-6005. Some events are inside the nature center and the archery range is outside so bring some layers, a lunch, and your camera!
