Event Description:

Wild Turkeys are more than just a meal! Once driven nearly to extinction in much of the United States, the wild turkey has returned. Learn about the natural history of this gobbler and discover their wild turkey language. We will create a turkey craft and take a short walk to catch a glimpse of their feathered relatives! You must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage:

Class is free! (Park pass required). All ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 15 spaces.

What to Bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather (we will be outside for a short hike).

Location Details: Meeting location is at the nature center which is located inside the park off of the 100th Ave and Simms St. main park entrance.
