Event Description:

There are sensitive wildlife habitats in irrigational areas on open space that we need volunteers to help clean by hand. Due to these sensitive wildlife habitats, we are unable to use machinery and we your help! Now that the summer season is winding down and the water is turned off, we need help working on these areas to get ahead for next year by preparing irrigational structures for the spring while working to protect sensitive wildlife habitat. Volunteers will use hand saws to cut small trees and branches that impede water flow or catch and trap debris inside these irrigational structures. This project is from 9:00am-1:00pm. Minimum age is 12 with adult supervision. To register please visit: www.BoulderCountyOpenSpace.org/wildwork. For questions, please contact Craig at 303-678-6216 or .
