Event Description:

A knowledgeable staff member will guide you through our 8,000 acres of short-grass prairie known as West Bijou. Explore the prairie, watch the skies for raptors and visit the bison herd. Learn how we manage our “conservation herd” through holistic management and restorative grazing. Discover the story of the K/T boundary and learn how it tells the story of the demise of the dinosaurs. Enjoy a catered picnic lunch in the valley while viewing incredible scenic views and hearing tales of the homesteaders.
