Standley Lake Regional Park is a 3,000- acre park located in unincorporated Jefferson County. The main entrance is located at 100th Avenue and Simms Street. Standley Lake is a multi-use recreation and water-storage facility, and is the water supply for Westminster, Northglenn and Thornton. It is used for recreation, drinking water and irrigation. Popular recreation activities at the lake include, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, picnics, walking, running, cycling and wildlife viewing.
