Bring your children for a nature play date in our “Nature: Explore” space, where they can climb, dig, jump and dive into nature as they connect with their world. No screens, no plans, no slides or swings-just nature and their imaginations. Please register as space is limited.

What to Bring: Dress for the weather, including sunscreen, hats and water bottles!

Bring your tot for some parent one-on-one time together as you are guided through a nature painting both of you will treasure. Or let your little artist paint for you as an instructor leads this outdoor, step-by-step tutorial to create an acrylic-on-canvas masterpiece. No experience is necessary. Register kids online as space is limited-no need to register parents.

What to Bring: Clothes that can get dirty/paint. Dress for the weather.

Get Outdoors Day Colorado and SouthWest Denver Coalition are joining forces to host Safe Summer Kick Off on Get Outdoors Day (SSKO GO), Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Garfield Lake Park from 10am to 3pm. This free, family-friendly event is designed to promote access to healthy and safe outdoor spaces, support under-resourced communities, and celebrate nature exploration.

Looking for something for your kids to do when school is off but work isn't? Join SPREE as we learn camping skills and make some treats at our firepit along the South Platte River! Just because it is too cold to sleep outside at night, doesn't mean we can't campout during the day!

SPREE offers school holiday camps for students Kindergarten (must be at least 6)-5th grade at SPREE Headquarters from 8AM to 6PM. The daily schedule will be as follows:
