Event Description:

Join Friends of the Peak to repair erosion and improve drainage on the Mackinaw Trail on North Slope. The Mackinaw Trail goes along the shore of North Catamount Reservoir. The group will carpool up the Pikes Peak Highway to the trailhead. Most of the work is near the trailhead. Work will end at 3:30, and volunteers should be back to their cars around 4 or 4:30.
Free to participate; no experience necessary, minimum age 13 with a parent, 16 without.

What to Bring: Bring water, lunch, snacks, work gloves, sunscreen, sturdy footwear, raingear, clothing layers, and anything else you would commonly bring on a hike.
