Visit our four interactive Villages where you can fish, bike, jump, garden, climb, paint, build, paddle, learn, dance, jump, eat, explore, and play! Select adaptive recreation actitivities are available for people of all backgrounds and abilities. This event is accessible.

Outdoor Adventure Village:

Paddle, canoe, bike, climb, jump, learn and cast your line into the fishing pond and play!

Expressive Arts Village: 

Create, inspire, sculpt, draw, paint, make music, grow gardens, cook meals, explore urban farming, harvest the fun!

United Healthcare BodyWalk Village: 

Learn all about healthy and active lifestyle choices! Ask health experts important questions and discover fun ways to move your body - jump rope, run sprints, hula hoop, and do push-ups! 

Adaptive Recreation Village: 

There is something for everyone! People of all ages and backgrounds can learn how to hand-pedal bike, adaptively fish, climb or paddle! Come meet different the businesses that offer adaptive recreation and learn what they can do for you!

GO PLAY! 5K: RUN WITH THE SQUIRRELS AND A FEW NUTS

Get ready to HOP, SKIP, JOG or RUN into your next outdoor adventure at the inaugural Get Outdoors Colorado GO Play! 5K. Prizes for placing, giveaways & t-shirt included with entry fee. Outdoor Adventure course also included along the first mile of the race! Free Trailblazers Kid’s Dash starts for kids 5 and under at 8:50am. GO Play! 5K starts at 9am and finishes at 10:00am near the stage for awards and opening ceremonies of National Get Outdoors Day.

GET INVOLVED

Getting involved in Get Outdoors Day will mean you are part of a nationwide effort to reconnect American youth with outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles. There are several ways to be involved in this effort; become an exhibitor, join as a partner, or volunteer for the day.

Become an Exhibitor:

Do you have a product, educational tool or relevant field that you think would be a great booth at the event? Becoming an exhibitor is easy.

Become a Sponsor:

Join us in connecting kids to nature and healthy active outdoor lifestyles!  National Get Outdoors Day is organized by a collaboration of non-profits and government agencies who need your help so our message can touch thousands of people across Colorado’s Front Range.

Become a Volunteer: 

Get involved on the day of the event by helping with a variety of activities that include guiding visitors through the event, assisting with the GO Play! 5k Race, helping to make our event as environmentally friendly as possible, and more!
