Event Description:

Join Lookout Mountain Nature Center Astronomy Team members for an engaging look at the night sky & tour of the historic William Baehr Observatory. While hiking up Star View trail, stop at stations along the way and enjoy finding constellations, Saturn, nebula and more. Weather permitting view through historic and modern telescopes. We recommend that you arrive between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm for ample time to visit all the stations. Ages 10 to adult.

What to Bring: Dress warmly and wear good walking shoes, as there is a 1/3 mile hike up to the observatory. Bring a flashlight.

30400 Crystal Lake Road, Pine, CO
Location Details: Take Highway 285 south to Pine Junction. Turn left onto County Road 126 (Pine Valley Road). Continue 6 miles to Crystal Lake Road and turn right. Follow Crystal Lake Road into the park.
