Event Description:

Seed Collection Crew Leaders are trained in botany and crew leading skills, and lead groups of 6-10 volunteers to collect native seeds on open space lands. These native seeds are often expensive or not available for purchase, and will be used on local restoration projects, ensuring the preservation of native genotypes. Projects are moderately strenuous, and provide a great opportunity to learn about native plants and ecosystems. Interested volunteers must be 18 years old, commit to three projects in 2013, and attend a mandatory all-day training class on June 15th. For an application and more information, please contact Erica at 303-678-6329 or . Application deadline is June 7th.
