Event Description:

Learn the basics of spin fishing at a private lake in the southwest metro area. We’ll start with an introduction to spin fishing and practice our casting skills before heading down to the water to try our luck. You’ll learn:
• Knot Tying
• Casting
• Landing fish
• Types of fish in Colorado and how to find them.
Professional fishing guides from Lake Ice USA will be joining us on select dates. Participants will receive directions the week prior to the workshop. Fishing rods, bait and tackle are provided.
Ages 7+ welcome. Parents must register and attend with their child.
Price: $15 members / $18 non-members (Includes all gear and instruction.)
Fishing licenses are required for those 16 and older. Season and one-day licenses are available from most sporting goods retailers or online at the Colorado Parks & Wildlife website.
