Join us at Memorial Park/Prospect Lake for this FREE event for kids and adults alike! Experience a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, paddling SUP boards, fly fishing, spin fishing, slack lining, mapping, shooting and more! A variety of outdoor businesses and nonprofit agencies will have activities on display for the public to try.

Not into fly fishing? Try spin casting. Maybe you can’t mountain bike. Try a new pedal-assisted electric bike. Maybe you want to learn about mapping. Or perhaps bird watching is more your style.

Free Family Event! Join SPREE for this celebration of Denver history at Grant Frontier Park. We will pan for gold in the South Platte River, listen to Native American stories, make crafts, and even take a silly photos at our Western photo-booth! This event is free for the whole family and lunch will be provided, but prior registration is required.

What to Bring: Be prepared to spend the day outside. A water bottle is helpful as all potable water will be brought to the park.

Looking for something for your kids to do when DPS school is off but work isnt? Have them join SPREE as we study the difference between bobcats & lynx, and learn about the coyotes and foxes of our state!

What to Bring: Be sure to pack your camper with a water bottle and a full lunch + 2 snacks. Pack sunscreen, water shoes, and any clothing that they need to spend a majority of the day outside.
