Event Description:

We will assess needed trail improvements, repair damaged trails, and build required structures. Discussions with questions and answers of the completed work will follow. The trail-work location is yet to be determined but will be on the South Platte Ranger District of the Pike National Forest.

Each day will provide real trail maintenance work experience and opportunity to use your skills while out on the trail. Our clinic will give you the hands-on opportunity to learn the different techniques needed to build confidence in your work. The clinic will be designed and tailored to the skill level of the participants.

What to Bring: Long pants, long sleeve shirts, gloves, high top boots, eye protection, hard hat and plan on getting dirty. Pack your own lunch with plenty of water. The instructor will supply some tools so each participant will be asked to bring hand tools. Bring shovel, rake, picks, hand saws, and loppers. Bring all your food and water for camping.
