Event Description:

Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, Wild Birds Unlimited - Fort Collins and the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery will celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with fun, educational activities from 7-11 a.m. on May 11 at the museum, located at 408 Mason Court north of downtown.

Families, birders and others are encouraged to stop by the museum to:
- See and touch wild birds at a banding station and learn how scientists study bird migration
- Take a birding tour along the Cache la Poudre River with RMBO biologists
- Enjoy kids' activities that teach children about migration and birding basics
- Participate in a migration presentation in the museum's "star lab"

The celebration will end with a bike tour, starting at the museum, following the Poudre trail and ending at New Belgium Brewery. The event is FREE, so please join us!
