Event Description:

Nature Discovery Day: Wild Wetlands!
Saturday, May 25th, 2013 10 AM – 12 PM

Join us as we dip into the wetlands of Hudson Gardens! During this program we will journey from the South Platte River to the ponds and other wetlands found at Hudson Gardens. We will discover the sights and sounds of our animal friends that depend on the water while practicing our own duck and frog calls. We will also dip our nets into the wetlands to uncover the diversity of life living just beneath the surface. Wear your rubber boots if you have them!

Program will meet in the Welcome Garden and will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress and prepare accordingly.

Registration: $5/child, ages 5-10. Each child must be accompanied by a guardian, which is included in the program fee. Additional adults $1.50/each. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
