School’s Out: Lessons from a Forest Kindergarten, Movie

In Switzerland, children ages 4-7 go to school in the forest every day, rain or shine, snow or sleet. As
kindergarten around the world becomes more and more academic, this powerful documentary explores the
development of social and cognitive skills through outdoor play. School’s Out demonstrates the magic of
children’s creativity in nature and will remind you of what childhood is all about. Movie is 36 minutes, followed
by snacks and a fun craft for kids. Educators and families are especially encouraged to attend.
