Event Description:

Take a fun 3.5 walk or run on park trails and enjoy the water, the trees, the wildlife. Support rescued wildlife in rehab with donation for walk. Face painting, educational fun by Students Concerned for Animals in Trouble, food and more. Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and returning Colorado's wildlife to the wild.

What to Bring: Be prepared to walk (or run) 3.5 miles on nearly level gravel trail. Bring water, jacket.

Location

Fountain Creek Regional Park, Fountain, CO
Location Details: Take I-25 south of Colorado Springs to exist 132. Take Hwy 16 east over the Interstate for 1/2 mile. Take the Security exit to the Hwy 85/87 junction. Turn right on Hwy 85/87 and go south approx. 1 mile to Duckwood Road. Turn right on Duckwood Road into the park. Take 2nd left into pavilion area and register for the walk at the pavilion.
