Event Description:
Explore the 1867 homesteading area and learn how cultures of the past utilized the prairie’s resources during winter.
Make corn husk dolls, make and eat molasses cookies, make yucca cordage and try your hand at archery. Historical interpreters will be on site cooking, teaching school lessons, blacksmithing and caring for our farm animals.
