Interpretive volunteers play a key role in providing visitor services at El Paso County Nature Centers. Come to this orientation at Bear Creek Nature Center to learn more about volunteer opportunities and see if the nature centers are the right fit for your volunteer time. Birding enthusiasts of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a citizen science project counting species and populations in Bear Creek Park. ($5.00 donation for birdseed, Reservations required, 520-6387)

Join others in your community who care about one of our precious natural resources – water. Volunteers will beautify and offer tender loving care to the native water-wise gardens as well as clean Bear Creek. After work we’ll enjoy a hotdog lunch. (Free, Reservations required, 520-6387)
