Event Description:

Introduce your toddler to nature with short talks and trail walks. Come enjoy a 45 minute nature activity with your toddler. Each program offers different topics that are appropriate for your young one. All classes are free! Ages 3-5. Toddlers must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 10 spaces.

The Brightest Star: February 11th, 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Twinkle twinkle little star, come discover who's the brightest star! Toddlers will explore our brightest star in our universe and learn about our solar system. They will then create their own squishy star painting to take home.

Spring Trail: March 10th, 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Watching plants grow is a fun and educational experience for tots! Tots will use their senses on this Spring Stroll to explore the four elements (soil, sun, water, seeds) that is needed for plants to grow. After the stroll, they will apply what they have discovered by planting flower seeds that will stay and grow in the park!

Our green world: April 7th, 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Outdoor adventure await in our natural green world! Come to Loon Lake, (East Side of Standley Lake), and find the types of green living things, large or small, that call this place home. Toddlers will be using water nets to explore the lake and then listen to a story. Please bring sturdy shoes and clothes that are okay to get messy

What to Bring: Wear appropriately clothing for the weather. Bring water and sunscreen.
